Here's a link to a video of Dissolve, Compose: Release from this past January:
http://vimeo.com/22531277
Dissolve, Compose: Release was a collaboration between Amphion, composer Jennifer Bellor, and the Hot Glass Studio at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Graduate students at R.I.T. wrote and performed a theatrical hot glass performance, to which Jennifer Bellor composed the compositional seeds that Amphion improvised upon. The result was a unique abstract narrative that touched upon themes of creation and elemental forces of nature. Big thanks to Karen Donnellan for posting the video!

Dissolve, Compose: Release was a success! Our thanks to Karen Donnellan and Mary Catherine Richardson at the Rochester Institute of Technology Glass Department for spearheading the entire project and of course to Jennifer Bellor for composing such inspiring music. Sean is underway learning Jen's latest piece for solo marimba Heat, from which the material for Dissolve, Compose: Release was drawn.
