After a rain delay yesterday, we're back on for today! Music, Food, Amphion, and Fire Dancers at the Sideshow. Come one, come all! But, if you ALL can't come, you can still watch the live stream by clicking HERE. Big thanks to Jonathan Albright for inviting us to play on this event, which is part of Downtown Greensboro's 17 Days Festival. We're playing a short set at 3:00 PM, filled with lots of Reich, Ligeti, and Hollinden. Percussion duos you can really dance to :) Don your best 'staches and join us downtown! |
Our residency at Christopher Newport University was a fantastic success!
Dr. Annie Stevens and her students were incredible hosts. The timpani, solo, and chamber masterclasses proved how successful Annie's work with the students CNU truly is and highlighted the musicality of the she's instilling in the program. CONGRATS! Also, our concert featured Annie smashing a printer into oblivion with a pipe wrench, "Office Space"-style, during the climax Adam Cuthbért's piece Rupture for two antiphonal snare drums, kick drums, and...well, a printer. Check out the archived concert on CNU's site: CLICK HERE (Annie's printer smashing debut happens at 1:25:48) |
